Ingredients for Potato Smiley

Boiled Potato                         3

Bread (remove the corners)   2 (You may use 1/2 cup of bread crumbs instead)

Cornflour                               3 tbsp

Cheese                                    25 gram

Cooking oil for frying

How to make Potato smiley

In a mixing bowl, make the small pieces or crumbs of bread. Grate the cheese in the bowl. Grated the boiled potato. Add 2 tbsp of cornflour, add salt mix it well. Add the remaining cornflour (1 tbsp) mix it and make a dough wash your hand to avoid sticknes. Take a plate and pour 1 tbsp oil in it. Put the dough in a plate and roll it once to make it smooth. Dough is ready, keep it in refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes.

Keep it in refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes, take out the dough from the refrigerator. Take a clean plastic bag or zip lock bag place the dough inside the plastic bag. Flatten it with your palm. Roll it into chapati or round shape you may roll it very thin. Cut the corners of plastic bag. Remove the upper layer.

Take any cookie cutter or round shape cutter/ small bowl. Cut it in round shape. Take a strow or toothpick to make small holes. Take a spoon to make smile. You may use knife or toothpick also gently remove the extra dough use this dough to make remaining potato smiley.

Keep it in refrigerator  for 30 minutes to set. After  30 minutes , take it out from the refrigerator. Turn on the flame, heat a pan and oil for frying. Drop a small dough ball to check the temperature of oil. Once it starts floating take it out. Put 3-4 potato smiley in hot oil. Fry it for few seconds on medium flame.

Flip it to fry other side fry it till it turns golden from both the sides, keep flipping. Once it turn golden, take it out on the kitchen tissue. Repeat the process to fry remaining potato smiles. Keep flipping potato smiles are ready. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
