 Ingredients for Dahi bhindi

Bhindi                                    400 gram

Onion                                      1

Ginger garlic paste                  1 tbsp

Curd                                         2 to 3 tbsp

Cumin powder                          1 tbsp

Coriander powder                     1 tbsp

Garam masala powder             1 tbsp

Turmeric powder                     1/2 tbsp

Red chilly powder                    1.5 tbsp

Cumin seeds                              1 tbsp

Green chillies                            2

Cooking oil                                5 tbsp

salt to taste

How to make dahi bhindi

Bhindi washed and dried. Remove both the edges. Cut it into medium size and slit it. Repeat the process to cut all the bhindi. Take a bowl and 2-3 tbsp of curd add 1 tbsp of coriander powder, cumin powder 1 tbsp, garam masala powder 1 tbsp, red chilly powder 1 tbsp mix it well.

Heat a pan and 4 tbsp of oil. Let the oil heat properly. Add chopped bhindi fry it for 6-7 minutes on medium flame. Once is fried, take it out. Add 2 tbsp of oil again add 1 tbsp of cumin seeds, 2 green chillies and add 1 chopped onion. Fry it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.

Add 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste mix it well add 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder, 1/2 tbsp of red chilly powder mix it well. Turn off the flame before adding the curd mix it well. Turn on the flame. Cook it for 4-5 minuted on low flame add 1 cup of water and add salt to taste. Let is come to boil.

Add fried bhindi. Cook it for 8-10  minutes on low flame. Turn off the flame. Ready to serve.
