Chilly Paneer dry recipe; Paneer chiily

Ingredients for dry paneer chilly

Paneer                                                     200 gram

Onion ( chopped in square shape )          1

Green pepper/ bell pepper ( chopped )    1

Green chilly ( slit )                                    3

Garlic cloves ( finely chopped )               12

Ginger ( finely chopped )                         2 inch

Spring onion ( chopped )                          1/2 cup

Cooking oil                                               5 tbsp

Green chilly souce                                     1/2 tbsp

Red chilly souce                                        1 tbsp

Soy souce                                                 4 tbsp

White vinegar                                          1 tbsp

Tomato ketchup                                       2 tbsp

Black pepper                                            1/4 tbsp

Corn flour                                                2 tbsp

All purpose flour ( maida )                      3 tbsp

Ginger garlic paste                                  1/2 tbsp

Red chilly powder ( kashmiri )               1/2 tbsp

Salt to taste

Sugar (optional)                                       1/2 tbsp


How to make paneer chilly


In a bowl add cornflour and purpose flour , red chilly powder, ginger garlic paste, salt, black pepper powder mix it. All little water and make semi- thick batter add cut the paneer square shape and mix it properly to coat paneer with the batter.


Turn on the flame, heat a pan on medium flame- high flame and oil. Once the oil is heated properly, add paneer and fry it for a minute. Keep the remaining batter aside for further use. Flip it to fry other sides. You may deep fry the paneer if you like. Once it turn golden from all the sides, take it out from the pan.


Keep it aside add garlic, green chilly and ginger in hot oil fry it for 30-40 seconds on medium flame. Add onions and capsicum increase the flame ti high and fry it for a minute. Stir it for few seconds on medium flame stir it. Add  soy souce 4 tbsp, red chilly souce 1 tbsp, green chilly souce 1/2 tbsp, Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp add vinegar 1 tbsp, add little red chilly powder 1/2 tbsp, sugar 1/2 tbsp ( optional ) .


Add salt to taste, black pepper powder mix it well. Add the leftover batter or 2 tbsp of cornflour (if using cornflour mix it with 1 cup water mix it ) Add 1/3 cup of water stir it well. Let the gravy come to boil stir it. Add fried paneer mix it well or toss it. Turn off the flame add green portion of spring onion chilly paneer is ready. Take it out in a serving plate. Garnish it with spring onion serve it.
