Tomato Soup Recipe; How to make Tomato Soup

 Ingredients for tomato soup

Tomato washed and chopped                5to6

Garlic                                                     5to6

Onion                                                     1 large

Basil leave                                             1

Bay leave                                               1

Clove                                                     3 

Cinnamon stick                                     2 inch

Corn flour                                             1 tbsp

Sugar                                                    1/3 tbsp

Black pepper                                        1/2 tbsp

Salt as per taste 

Cream                                                  2 tbsp

Butter                                                   2 tbsp

How to make tomato soup

Turn on the flame and heat a pan on medium flame add butter and let it melt add bay leave, Clove and cinnamon stick fry it for few seconds on medium flame. Add garlic and fry it for another few seconds add onions fry it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame and stir it.

Add chopped tomato, add little salt to cook the tomato fast mix it well. Cook the tomatoes for 3-4 minutes on medium flame ( cover the pan). Open the lid and stir it add basil leaves mix it and cook it for another 1/2 minutes open the lid and stir it.

Turn off the flame and let it cool down. Discard the bay leave and cinnamon stick. Let it cool down before grinding. Take it out in a blending jar close the jar and blend it into paste strain the paste into a bowl. Add little water if needed paste or puree is ready to make soup.

Turn on the flame and heat the same pan again. Add the tomato paste and stir it.Add 1 cup of water ( adjust the thickness of soup as per your like) stir it for a minute. Add sugar, black paper and salt mix it well.

Cover the pan and cook it for 5-7 minutes on low medium flame. Open the lid and stir it. Add 2 tbsp of water in cornflour and mix it well. Add it in soup. Cook it for a minute on low medium flame.

Add cream and mix it out a serving bowl. You may garnish it with cream and croutons and serve it.
