Recipe for Tawa pulao ; How to make Tawa Pulao

 Ingredients for tawa pulao

Boiled rice any                       500 gram

Tomato (chopped)                  4

Boiled Potato(chopped)         2

Onion (chopped)                    2 

Green peas(fresh frozen)       50 grams

Capsicum/bell pepper            1

Ginger garlic paste                 1 tbsp

Cumin seeds                           1 tbsp

Cooking oil                            4 tbsp

Chopped coriander leaves     1/3 tbsp

Pav bhaji masala                    2 tbsp

Turmeric powder                    1/2 tbsp

Red chilli powder                   1 tbsp

Garam masala powder            1/2 tbsp

Lemon juice                            2 tbsp

Salt to taste

How to make Tawa Pulao

Turn on the flame, heat a tawa and add oil. Let the oil heat properly add cumin seeds and fry it for few seconds. Add onions and fry it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. Keep stirring in between add green peas and capsicum mix it. For fry it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. Keep stirring in between.

Reduce the flame to low add ginger garlic paste mix it and cook it for a minute on low flame. Keep stirring in between. Add tomatoes mix it. Cover the pan and cook it for 3-4 minutes on medium flame. Open the lid and stir it.

Reduce the flame to low before adding dry spices add turmeric powder, red chilly powder mix it well. Cook it for a minute on low flame and stir it. Add boiled potatoes and mix it properly. Cook it for 2 minutes on low flame and stir it. 

Add boiled rice and add salt to taste mix it properly. Cook it for 2 minutes on low flame. Add garam masala powder and coriander leaves mix it properly. Cook it for a minute on low flame. And add lemon juice mix it again. Turn off the flame.

Tawa pulao is ready. Take it out in a serving plate. Ready to serve with raita and salat.
