Recipe for shahi paneer ; how to make shahi paneer


Onion                        1

Tomato                      3

Ginger                       2 inch

Garlic cloves             10

Cashew                     12

Almonds                   10

Bay leave                  2

Black cardamon        1

Turmeric powder       1/3 tbsp

Red chilly powder      1 tbsp

Cumin powder           1/2 tbsp

Coriander powder      1/2 tbsp

Black pepper powder        1/4 tbsp

Garam masala powder       1/3 tbsp

Kasuri methi                      1/2 tbsp

Cumin seeds                       1/2 tbsp

Cinnoman                          1/2 tbsp

Green cardamon               1

Anise                                 1/2

Butter                                 1 tbsp

Cooking oil                          3 tbsp

Cream                                 2 tbsp

How to make soft rasmalai

For process

Heat a pan and add little oil, add paneer and fry it for a minute on medium flame. Once it is fried a bit,take it out add 1 bay leave and 1 black caradamon, add 1/4 cup of cashew andalmonds ( fry it for few seconds) Add 2 inch ginger, 8 garlic cloves and1 chopped onion. Add 3 tomato, add little salt, it will help the tomato cook faster. Add 1 cup of water. Cook it for 3-4 minutes on medium flame ( cover the pan) Turn off the flame and let it cool down. You may discord the whole spices. Put it in blending jar. Close the lid and blend it. Strain it paste is ready.

Turn on the flame and heat a pa , add oil cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp, cinnoman 1/2 inch, green cardamon 1, mace, anise 1/2. Put it in hot oil and fry it for few seconds, add 1/3 tbsp of turmeric powder, 1 tbsp of red chilly powder. Stir it well. Add the blended paste. Stir it well ,add coriander powder and cumin powder, 1/4 tbsp black pepper powder cover it and let it come to boil. Add 1/2 cup of water cover it and boil it for 2-3 minutes. You may discord the whole spices , 1 tbsp of honey optional

Add 1/4 tbsp of garam masala powder mix it well. Add fried paneer, add salt to taste. Cover it and cook it for 10 minutes on low flame. Add kasuri methi, 2 tbsp of fresh cream mix it and cook it for a minute on low flame. Turn off the flame . Add 1 tbsp of butter. Ready to serve.
