Mawa Barfi Recipe ; Recipe for khoya barfi


Mawa/ khoya                                        250 grams

Sugar                                                     3/4 cup

Pistachios                                              1 tbsp

Green cardamon                                   4-5

Roast the  mawa for for making burfi first. Crumble or grate the mawa turn on the gas. So that pan gets heated. We have crumble the mawa now roast it. Mawa has turned little brown now take it out in a bowl. Turn off the flame.

Prepare sugar syrup for the barfi for this add 3/4 cup of sugar in a pan and add 1/4 cup of water as well. Turn on the gas and cook until. Sugar syrup melts completely. Sugar syrup is now ready turn off the flame. stir until sugar syrup gets frigid completely by doing this.

We will get boora from sugar don;t add sugar in hot mawa as it gets difficult to set the burfi. Take out the together prepared from sugar syrup in a bowl and mix mawa as well. Now mix both the ingredients nicely.

Add cardamon powder mix it well. You can also add already or boora in the mawa. Once it cools down completely. We have mixed sugar and mawa nicely. Take out the mixture is greased plate. Garnish with same pistachios.

It will take 3-5 hours for setting the burfi and then cut into pieces of your choice.    3-4 hours later mawa burfi is ready.
