Besan ka Halwa ; How tomake besan ka halwa

 Ingredients for Beasn Halwa

Gram flour(besan)                       1 cup

Sugar                                           1/2 cup

Ghee                                           1/2 cup

Mixed dry fruits ( chopped)       1/4 cup

How to make besan ka halwa

Turn on the flame, heat a pan on medium flame and add ghee. Let the ghee melt properly add besan and keep stirring. Roast the besan till it turns brown keep the flame on low medium or medium. Keep stirring it takes 5-7 minutes on medium flame and 8-10 minutes on low medium flame. Cook it till turns little dark in color.

Once it turns brown, add augar and water. I have used 1/3 cup of water. Keep stirring to avoid lumps. Keep the flame on low- medium. Add dry fruits and mix it. Cook it for 4-6 minutes on low-medium flame, Keep stirring. Once the halwa starts separating from the pan, turn off the flame.

Leave it for 5-10 minutes mix it once before serving. Take it out in a serving. Garnish it with cashew and almond ( chopped ). You may add 1 tbsp of ghee on top to enhance the taste. Ready to serve.
