Suji upma Recipe; Healthy Breakfast in India

 Ingredients for suji upma

Oil            -          2 tbsp
Mustard seeds    - 1 tbsp
Chana dal           - 1 tbsp
Curry leaves       - 1 tbsp
Cashew               - 10 Slit
Onion                  - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Peeled Peas          -1 Small bawl
Carrot                    1 Small bawl (chopped)
Green chilli          -1 tbsp
 Salt to taste
Desi ghee             -  1 tbsp
Suji (semolina)      - 1 bawl
Water                    - 1 glass
Tomato                  - 1 small bawl
 Coriander leaves  - 1 tbsp

How to make suji upma

Add oil in the pan and when oil is heated add Rai to it. After it start  cracking sound , we will add daal to it. We will fry to daal and after frying it add curry leaves. This adds flavour to it . After this we will add Cashew and i made them half and then . I added them to the mixture . 


Fry cashew after we will add after this we will add carrot and peas and then we will fry them as well. After frying everything we will add finally chopped green chillies to it (and if your family members do not like it the you can skip this). After this we will add salt, desi ghee we will add flavour to it.

Semolina (suji)  will also roast properly in it. After this we will add suji. You can roast it later withly vegetable or you can use already roasted suji. After roasting it we will add water to it. After this we will add tomato to it and then we will mix the mixture properly.

Then add coriander leaves and then mix it. Until it soaks all the water mow you can see that our upma is getting fluffy by keeping lid on it. Now you can see our suji upma is ready(friends you have seen how lite and healthy this breakfast are you must try this in your breakfast)
