Sabudana vada recipe' How to make sabudana vada fried and non fried

 Ingredients for sabudana vada

Sabudana                          150 gram
(soak it in normal water for  4-5 hours)
Boiled potato                     4
Roasted peanuts powder    50 gram
(roast in for 2-3 minutes on low medium flame and then coarsely grind it)
Grated ginger                      2 inch
Green chilli chopped           3
Lemon juice                        2 tbsp
Coriandar leaves                 1/3 cup
Cooking oil for frying
Cumin seeds                        1/2 tbsp
Balk salt/sendha namak to taste

Grated mash the boiled potato in a bowl. Add soaked sabudana in potato, roasted peanuts, corindar leaves, green chilli, ginger, cumin seeds and lemon juice, add black salt as per taste mix it properly. Mixture is ready to make vada.

Fried sabudana vada

Grease your palm with water. Take small portion of mixture and roll it into ball flatten it a bit .

Repeat the process to make flattened vada is ready to fry add oil and let it heat properly on medium high flame. Drop a small ball of mixture in hot oil to check the temperature of oil. Once the oil is heated properly reduce the flame to low medium. Add prepared sabudana vada in oil one by one put 3-4  vada at a time.

Fry it for a minute on low medium flame. Flip it to fry other side fry it tell it turns golden from both sides keep flipping in between once the vada turns golden brown take it out on the kitchen towel. Repeat the process to fry remaining vada. Fried sabudana vada is ready.

Non fried sabudana

Heat a appam pan on low flame apply few drops of oil in each mould. Put the vada balls in all the moulds. Reduce the flame to low and cover the pan. After 3-4 minutes flipped apply few drops of oil if needed. Cover the pan and cook it until it is evely cooked from all sides.keep flipping rotating in between open the lid and flip the vadas.

Cover the pan and cook it for another 2-3 minutes on low flame. Open the lid and check it turn off the flame, take it out in a plate fried and non fried sabudana vadas is ready.
